Well it's been quite a while since I updated this blog but in case there's anyone that actually still checks it and hasn't been updated on what's been going on over the last month....here it is.

There have been two main developments in the last few weeks with many interesting and convoluted subplots intermingling with them. I was fired from my job at Lakeland Regional Hospital on Feb 20th. I won't go into any details but it was unexpected and a great blessing to me and my family. Yes, it has created some interesting financial situations but I feel that God has provided well for me so far and will continue to in the future.

The second is that we found out that our new little one will be a boy. He's due in late July. Angela will be totally outnumbered with little chance of regaining a hormonal majority in the household. One of the interesting subplots there, is that without a job, we have no medical insurance. So pray for that situation as we go through the next few months. We're hoping that she can get on medicaid prior to the child's birth and that will hopefully cover most of the problem (money being the problem not the baby). You might be thinking to yourself, "well, go get a job that has good insurance benefits." I would say to you "hold your horses there Mr. (or Mrs.) you haven't heard the rest of the story yet and your kinda getting too much in my business anyway." Soooooo... I have decided to pursue private practice. I have wanted to do this for quite some time but never had the "opportunity" to do so. Now I have the opportunity and I'm taking it. I have been working about half the time at a clinic in Lebanon called The Crescent Center. That was another God move that set up my ability to gather some new clients and get set up in private practice. Additionally, I have been doing some in home therapy around Springfield as I was prior to my termination. It's a strain right now but there is a lot of potential to grow my practice as we get back on our feet.

The Crescent Center in Lebanon, MO is now accepting new clients. In a related issue, Adam is now accepting new in home patients in the Springfield, Mo area.

I have more to the story but I have to go do therapy so I'll finish this little discussion later....like May or so.

Praise God.
