Championship form
It's over! Today Todd and I wrap up the weight loss competition. The final result is (drumroll).....
Starting weight: 230 lbs
Current weight: 214 lbs
Total loss: 16 lbs !!!
I'm pretty sure that this will seal the deal (unless Todd cut off his arms or something, which could have happened while he was watching the Cards play last night).
Renovation update: Not a whole lot got accomplished this weekend. My dad and step-mother were here. Dad helped me install the final cabinet door on the vanity and we put together the 'hillbilly golf' game he made for me for my birthday. Upon completion of the construction of said game, my father beat me 4 times in a row. For those of you who do not have any idea what hillbilly golf is (as was the case for me until dad got me a set), you'll have to come over and play sometime.*
Dad and I played in the 10th annual CCH golf tournament on Saturday. We placed 4th with a score of one under par. This wasn't too bad considering neither of us have played any golf in a couple months. Dad won the long drive contest so at least we had one notch on the belt. Between us we have won the long drive and long putt contests 2 of the 3 years we have played. We have placed 4th twice and 3rd once.
Angela had her second baby shower (note: initially I left out the word baby, assuming people would know what I was talking about. However, after reading it again, it sounded as if she had been walking around soiled for some time). I, of course, did not attend but got another "see what we got" show at home and some more cake (note: Sarah Crowe made the cake, she makes the best cakes on the PLANET, I'm not kidding, thanks Sarah).
We are 38 days from Braden's due date. Isn't that exciting!! (apperantly exciting enough to get 2 exclamation points) For anyone who isn't following my blog closely, there is a baby pool (for more information see 'No purchase necessary, void where prohibited' on this blog) enter your guess now for a chance to win stated prize. So far there are 10 submissions with only 1 person claiming that Bradizzle will come late and only 1 duplicated day. Apparently no one has faith in the medical community and guessed the actual day he is due. Keep 'em coming folks.
